Our Products

How much popcorn do I need for my party / event?
That amount can vary greatly depending on your individual needs! An actual "serving" of popcorn is only one cup. Most people will eat quite a bit more. As a general starting point, we suggest to plan for two cups of popcorn per person. One gallon of popcorn will then provide about eight servings. We offer bulk sizes as well as individual sizes for all 300 gourmet popcorn flavors!

Is your popcorn healthy to eat?
Popcorn is one of the healthiest snacks around - and tasty too! Popcorn is whole grain, low in calories and fat, and a complex carbohydrate.

What about oils? What oil do you pop your popcorn in?
We pop in a premium grade white coconut oil giving our popcorn a slight buttery taste and delicious crunch.

There are some exceptions. These flavors are corn oil popped:
- Cinnamon Kettle Corn, Original Kettle Corn, Barbecue Kettle Corn, Cheddar Kettle Corn, Jalapeno Kettle Corn, Ranch Kettle Corn, White Cheddar Kettle Corn (popped the old fashioned way in a giant hand-stirred pot)

Do you really make 300 flavors of popcorn?
Yes we do! Just don't ask us to name them all! We have a list for that. Click on "Flavors" in the blue bar at the top of the page. You will see our Daily, Special Order and Seasonal popcorn flavors grouped and listed alphabetically there. Clicking a flavor takes you to a page where you can buy it in 1-gallon bags plus see other available bag sizes.

You must have a giant warehouse full of popcorn! Is it fresh?
We're not like those other popcorn companies. Our popcorn chef hand-makes every batch of popcorn to order! You can order as little as one gallon of any of our popcorn flavors year-round. We have daily popcorn flavors that are available all the time in even smaller sizes.

But, how long will my popcorn stay fresh?
Just in case you don't finish it all right away...
Our pack size bags (including the bags in sampler boxes) will have the freshest taste for about 2 months.
Bulk sizes (bags 1-gallon or larger) have the freshest taste for about 2 weeks.
Your results may vary but you can maximize the freshness time by keeping the popcorn away from humidity and direct sunlight. Store it in a cool and dry place.
If you are planning a party you can order early and select a future date to receive your order.

Our sampler boxes are the best way to get a taste of a lot of different flavors. Try the Ultimate Sampler! Samples of our popcorn are always available in our Orlando store too. I love the variety samplers! Can I pick out all my own flavor choices?
Yes! You can choose a daily flavor, a taste preference or leave the choices to us. Your popcorn sampler will be hand picked from today's available flavors only (from our complete menu of 300 flavors). You are required to choose a variety from all of our flavor categories when filling a sampler box.

Is my information secure?
You can shop at with confidence. We have partnered with Authorize.Net, a leading payment gateway since 1996, to accept credit cards safely and securely for our customers. The Authorize.Net Payment Gateway manages the complex routing of sensitive customer information through the credit card processing network.

How do I register with your website?
You can find the "Register" link on the top of the storefront. Enter your shipping and billing information along with your email address and desired password. You may also join our email list there. Registration with our website enables you to save your settings and preferences, view invoices and shopping history and more. You can quickly and easily order and complete your checkout on future visits. Registration is free.

What types of payment do you accept?

When will my credit card be charged?
Your card is authorized when you place your order. Typically at that time the funds are placed on hold by your card issuer. Your credit card will be charged after your order is reviewed by our order team.

Do you charge sales tax?
The law requires us to collect sales tax on all orders within Florida. Sales tax is calculated on the product total.

Shipping & Delivery

When will my order ship?
Kernel Encore Gourmet Popcorn makes your popcorn after you order it to guarantee freshness. When you select a Standard shipping option our order processing time is up to 3 business days for orders under $500. For each $500 increment please add 1 business day to the expected order processing time. When you select an Expedited option we prepare and ship your order by the next business day if your order is received by 6 PM EST. There is a map on the Shipping Policy page that shows expected delivery dates for all Standard and Expedited Shipping options. If you need your popcorn even faster we offer Rush shipping options including 3-Day, 2-Day and Next Day. Our Shipping Policy page will let you know the expected delivery date for Rush orders placed at that time. Saturday delivery for 2-Day and Next Day Air must be ordered by phone. We know you can't wait to dig in so we get it ready as quickly as possible. Many Standard orders are popped and shipped in 1-2 business days.

I am planning ahead for a special event. When should I place my order?
Just select the date you want to receive it during checkout. We will figure out when we need to make it and ship it to target that delivery date. You will need to pick a date that is the same as or later than the Standard Shipping expected delivery date for your zone as shown on our Shipping Policy page. If you need it sooner than that consider one of the Expedited or Rush options. We don't recommend picking the last possible day before the date you are serving the popcorn. It's a good idea to allow 1-3 extra business days for unplanned exceptions as your package does travel via Ground shipping (weather, train issues, etc.).

Do you ship to Alaska & Hawaii?
Yes! Your shipping charges will be calculated during checkout. Free shipping offers are not valid outside the contiguous United States.

Do you ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses or US Territories?
Yes! We use USPS Priority Mail for this service. Your shipping charges will be calculated during checkout. Free shipping offers are not valid outside the contiguous United States.

Do you ship to post office box addresses?
No. But USPS does offer Street Addressing as an opt-in service in many locations so you can receive packages. Check with your local post office for details.

Do you offer a wholesale program?
We offer our discounts for large portion pack orders and bulk size orders to everyone. Save up to 50% on portion packs and up to 30% on bulk sizes. Quantity discounts are shown on each item page display. We offer an extra 5% foodservice discount to caterers, schools, churches and more. If you are a reseller we have certain requirements to offer you wholesale pricing. Please click on Foodservice at the bottom of the page to provide information for any of these groups.
