Our Products

How much popcorn do I need for my party / event?
That amount can vary greatly depending on your individual needs! An actual "serving" of popcorn is only one cup. Most people will eat quite a bit more. As a general starting point, we suggest to plan for two cups of popcorn per person. Our one gallon small bag will then provide about eight servings. We offer bulk sizes as well as individual sizes for all 200 of our gourmet popcorn flavors!

Is your popcorn healthy to eat?
Popcorn is one of the healthiest snacks around - and tasty too! Popcorn is whole grain, low in calories and fat, and a complex carbohydrate.

What about oils? What oil do you pop your popcorn in?
More great news! We're proud to say that the popcorn in most of our 200 popcorn flavors is popped with 100% hot air!

There are some exceptions. These flavors are oil popped:
- Butter & Salt (it's "theater style"; popped in coconut oil)
- Baby Caramel, Baby Cheddar, Baby White Salted, Baby Yellow Salted (these kernels are just too small for our hot air poppers; popped in coconut oil)
- Cinnamon Kettle Corn, Original Kettle Corn (popped the old fashioned way in a giant hand-stirred pot; popped in corn oil)

Do you really make 200 flavors of popcorn?
Yes we do! Just don't ask us to name them all! We have a list for that. Click on "Flavors" in the bar at the top or bottom of the page. There's an alphabetical list there. You can even sort the list by category (you know, "savory", "sweet", etc.). Clicking a flavor takes you to a page where you can buy it by the bag.

You must have a giant warehouse full of popcorn! Is it fresh?
We're a small, family-run business. Our popcorn chef hand-makes every batch of popcorn to order! You can order as little as one gallon of any of our popcorn flavors year-round. We have daily popcorn flavors that are available all the time in even smaller sizes.

But, how long will my popcorn stay fresh?
Just in case you don't finish it all right away, here are some tips:
Our pack size bags (including the bags in sampler boxes) will keep 6-8 weeks.
Bulk sizes (bags 1-gallon or larger) will keep up to 2 weeks.
Your results may vary but you can maximize the freshness time by keeping the popcorn away from humidity. Suggestions from some of our customers include crisping up popcorn in the oven on a cookie sheet for a few minutes on the lowest heat setting or freezing popcorn for several months in a sealed air-tight bag. I would love to order your product! Can I get a sample of your popcorn?
Our variety sampler boxes are the best way to get a taste of a lot of different flavors. We suggest the 26 pack for this purpose. Samples of our popcorn are always available in our Orlando store too!

I love the variety samplers! Can I pick out all my own flavor choices?
Not exactly. Our variety samplers are built from the flavors made available on the day your order ships. You get a predetermined number of bag(s) from each flavor category. While you are welcome to list your suggestions in the space provided, we need to stick to the established guidelines for these samplers. Requested daily flavors (marked with an "*" on our flavor list) are never left out of your sampler as long as you do not exceed the number of flavors for the category.
If you are looking to try specific flavors, you must order at least a small one gallon bag.

How do I register with your website?
You can find the "Create an account" link on the right side of the storefront. Enter your shipping and billing information along with your email address and desired password. You may also join our mailing lists there. Registration with our website enables you to save your settings and preferences, shopping history and more. You can quickly and easily order and complete your checkout on future visits. Registration is free.

What types of payment do you accept?

When will my credit card be charged?
Your card is authorized when you place your order. Typically at that time the funds are placed on hold by your card issuer. We actually charge your card when the order ships.

Do you charge sales tax?
The law requires us to collect sales tax on all orders within states in which we have a physical presence. That state is Florida. Sales tax is calculated on both the product and shipping totals.

Shipping & Delivery

When will my order ship?
Kernel Encore Gourmet Popcorn makes your popcorn after you order it to guarantee freshness. Orders received by 7:00 AM Eastern Time usually ship the same or next business day. Some orders may require additional production time. During checkout you may request a receiving date up to 16 days later.

Yes! Your shipping charges will be calculated during checkout.

Yes! We use USPS Priority Mail for this service. Your shipping charges will be calculated during checkout.

No. UPS requires a physical street address for all shipments.

Wholesale & Fundraising

Do you sell your popcorn wholesale?
Yes! Our popcorn is available for wholesale purchase for specialty stores, concession stands, entertainment venues and more. We offer individual pack sizes of 3/4 cups, 2 cups, 4 cups and 8 cups. We also offer bulk sizes of 3 gallons and 15 gallons. Shipping is FOB Orlando, FL on all wholesale orders. Online ordering for wholesale orders is not available.
